Lovely night in Downes pub! Service was fast and efficient & pints were fresh! Atmosphere was lovely & perfect for a catch up! Will be back

A Waterford institution. Great pints and great staff. Could possibly be my favourite pub, up there with the greats.Order your drinks, sit down with your friends and while away the hours, then wonder if it would be so bad if ye did this every week for the rest of your days.You cannot put a price on comfort but Downes's is 'the' easy pub you need to experience.
